Becoming a Volunteer

In general, volunteers’ tasks can be grouped into four categories: communication, fundraising, administration, event preparation

Communication:

• Creating newsletters, press releases
• Taking photos and making videos
• Updating www.tipa.mu and social media’s sites

Fundraising:

• Helping the programme manager with fundraising
• Research on data base of prospective sponsors
• Contacting companies and potential sponsors as per manager’s guidelines

Administration:

• Filing/ organising documents
• Follow up with calls
• Inventory

Help during festival and other events:

• Logistics
• Security
• Workshop assistance
• General organization

Research on TIPA’s fields of intervention

• Research on new methods of teaching
• Interactive pedagogy
• Teachers motivation and communication
• Difficult behaviour resolution
• New activities: art forms and other media in pedagogy
